Latur, a city located in Maharashtra, primarily an agriculture-based economy & an educational hub for secondary, higher secondary, and university education. The study area of 1 sq. km. precinct, Ausa road of Latur city in Maharashtra. The precinct is located on one of the most prominent streets in the southern part of the city. Being at the core of rapid change & growth, the precinct Ausa road is observed to be in transition in two ways - one being that it is the educational hub for institutes & coaching center�s and second, being that the main facade of Ausa Road showing a consistent pattern of small structures like single shops turning into shopping complexes. This transition is directly influencing the grain and direction of growth in the precinct.
