Manish Nagar lies at the south-west corner of the city of Nagpur. The street pattern within the area is grid-iron which is a characteristic of a residential neighborhood along the fringe. The standard of living of people within precinct varies due to diversity in its typology. The major determinants such as MIHAN, NH7, Metro, etc. contributed to the development of the area. Informalities occur on the road due to the lack of public spaces in the precinct, which leads to the street as one of the major public space for the precinct. The complex blend of commercial and residential fabric gives the area a distinct character.
