Mid Term Synthesis explores a cross connectivity across all the exercises starting from exercise - 1 to exercise - 7 of the studio. These exercises are mainly focused on the physical aspects of planning.

During this one week long exercise, students from different units exchange their respective unit and work with the exchanged tutor on a specific urban theme. This enable the student to have analytical, cross functional and theme based learning outcome.

Students from different units will be shuffled with other tutors during this week long exercise. 

This enable the students to explore and analyse various urban themes across all the 10 units right from urban morphology, land uses, infrastructure services, street networks and connectivity , ground floor usages, etc.

Final Synthesis explores a cross connectivity across all the exercises starting from exercise - 1 to exercise - 12 of the studio. These exercises are focused on the physical aspects of planning as well as behavioural and societal in nature. 

During this one week long exercise, students work within their own unit, on a specific urban theme they have chosen.

 This enable the students to explore and analyse various urban themes across all the 10 units right from urban household consumption, informality in Indian cities, labour markets, water and sanitation, housing choice, etc.
