DHANANI MANTHAN DINESHBHAI

The portfolio analyses and reflects on the one square kilometre area of Varachha located in Surat, Gujarat. The study is carried out on the basis of parameters and studying the parameters at neighbourhood as well as city level and correlating parameters at neighbourhood and city level. The study of the parameters is carried out on the basis of primary and secondary survey. The development at the time of migration in 198s led to the negligible provision of dedicated open spaces in the neighborhood. Eventually, street started acting as a public realm at precinct as well as the city level.
